the british fashion awards with la redoute

Two Weeks ago, Ali & I were invited to the prestigious British Fashion Awards with La Redoute. Late Monday afternoon we were picked up by our car and driven the hour journey to London where we met the team. I wore the most beautiful lace ruffled dress from Self Portrait whilst Ali wore Boss, of course. We drank champagne and cocktails in the reception whilst chatting and enjoying the celebration of fashion whist the grand piano played in the back ground. We took out seats in the Gallery as Jack Whitehall took to the stage full of risqué jokes and excitement. We saw Icons from the world of fashion take to the stage from Jourdan Dunn to Absolutely Fabulous. I was completely enthralled with the entire ceremony but as Anna Wintour gave a brief speech and introduced Karl Lagerfeld, goose bumps covered my entire body. He rarely speaks publicly so to be present as he accepts his award was probably an incredible moment to be a part of. I left the ceremony feeling overwhelmed and inspired by all of the talent in the room and it truly was an evening I will never forget. Thank you so much to La Redoute for inviting me along with them.
