the best loungewear for cosy winter nights in…

25th January 2023
Nothing aids a relaxing night in with no plans, quite like a fresh set of cosy loungewear if you ask me...
Whether it’s choosing to curl up in front of the fire with a novel that transports my imagination elsewhere; taking advantage of the darker nights by using the time to try out new recipes in the kitchen; or having a night in with me, myself and a bottle of red; nights in with no plans but to unwind and relax are made for this time of year if you ask me.
And nothing aids a relaxing night in with no plans quite like a fresh set of cosy loungewear.

With that in mind, I thought I’d share my favourite loungewear for winter, should you be on the hunt for something blissful to snuggle up in over the coming weeks…

For the eagle eyed readers out there, you’ll notice that I featured lots of these sets on my channels last year!

A sign that quality classics in timeless colours are worth the investment if you ask me…

Karen Millen

Nothing says loungewear quite like a cashmere two-piece so this Karen Millen cashmere set had to make an appearance again. Available in four colour ways (I lived in their cream and grey set last winter), I warn you now, you won’t want to take them off once they’re on. Off somewhere nice later in the year? It doubles up as a tasteful loungewear set to travel in too.

LILYSILK

I find myself gravitating back to this Lilysilk set when I’m looking for ultimate comfort as it’s softer than a baby’s bottom (!) and screams ‘snuggle up in me now!’ Available in three elegant shades that will never date (coffee, natural white and soft apricot, if you’re interested), they’re the investment that keep on giving.

SHOP NOW

HUSH

The giveaways in the name with this set, right? Made from sustainably sourced wood-pulp fibres that have been woven to create a jersey, I’d personally go for the charcoal set out of the four options but I’ll be nice and let you pick your colour of choice! Naturally, jersey isn’t as warm as cashmere so I’d team this with my Soho dressing gown whilst we weather the sub-zero nights of late.

SHOP NOW

ARKET

Formal loungewear sounds counterintuitive right (?!) but sometimes, I want to be cosy and still feel like I could hop on a professional Zoom call without warning if I had to! With that in mind, I was drawn to the slightly cropped, fitted nature of this cashmere jumper from Arket. The wide leg matching trousers are comfy-chic too.

SHOP NOW

MANGO

If you’re on the hunt for a slightly slouchier set, this knitted co-ord from Mango ticks all the boxes. I personally think it looks perfect for those, ‘I’m hormonal, someone get me a hot water bottle asap!’ days… In the very best way that is!

SHOP NOW

ADANOLA

If you want your loungewear to double up as gym wear, I’ve been living in this pine green fleece from Adanola along with their matching tank bra and leggings in recent days. Not only are they great for working out in (find more of my favourite gym wear here), the material is so smooth it almost glides on to your body… you can’t help but want to keep them on all day/evening long!

SHOP NOW

So there you have it! The very best loungewear for cosy winter nights in.
I’ll be sharing my favourite ideas for the ultimate pamper night in shortly…
For now though, happy hibernating and speak soon!

PS. Looking for gym wear instead? Take a look at my favourites here.

Everything feels a little more optimistic as March begins don’t you think?
It’s the start of spring in my book Evergreen shortly followed by the spring equinox so there’s ample time to prepare, nest and refresh.
The light returns, hello March 🌱

for the launch of the new Lotus Youth Preserve Resurfacing dream serum which is a gentle AHA serum with prickly pear flower extract said to boost radiance and it was so lovely to be treated to a first trial to get a very first impression of the serum thanks to KMP and her magic hands. The plum tree in our garden is always the first blossom to erupt at this time of year narrowly beating the much loved aubretia that grows in abundance through our old garden wall. As soon as is acceptable I’m out with my secateurs ready to fill vases and prickly jars with its delicate confetti like blooms 🌸
