strawberry & mint breakfast smoothie

18th May 2015
It’s been one of the busiest weekends for a while and I’m in dire need of fuel and energy before setting off to my next destination today, only a short trip back to my old University to give a little talk about my career as a blogger. So I’m starting the day right with a breakfast smoothie packed with goodness to get me through the day a head. I wish there was a smoothie to kill nerves. I’m petrified, public speaking couldn’t be further from my comfort zone. Anyway, my nerves are making me ramble. Mint is a favourite of mine, I love adding it to teas and infusing with cold water for a more refreshing taste. Adding it to smoothies hadn’t crossed my mind until I now You Will Need: 1/2 Cup gluten free oats 1/2 Cup 0% fat greek yogurt 5-8 mint leaves 7 strawberries 1/2 or 1 full scoop of PhD woman Exercise Support – Vanilla (optional) 1 cup Coconut Water 1 teaspoon Chia seeds from Kaizen Living (and sprinkle some on top for Instagram purposes) 1.5 teaspoon of Xylitol     As always, shove it all in (technical term) the Nutribullet, remove lid, stick in straw and enjoy! Hair @imy_hair for @greatlengthsuk
I’m in my golden era. Ad having nurtured my hair back to health with professional haircare, supplements and hair oiling I knew I didn’t have enough time to grow my hair back for Summer so the wonderful team at @greatlengthsuk enlisted @imy_hair to transform me into my Summer style for the next few months. For those that don’t know Great Lengths has always been my extension brand of choice, about 15 years ago I had them for 2.5years to help me grow my hair back after I experimented a little too much with my style. My hair grew back healthy and strong and I didn’t have to wish the time away as the extensions gave me the extra few inches I needed without damaging my hair. I will have these removed at the end of the summer to continue to grow my hair back with regular Diamond cuts.
