old habits – why i drink phd woman meal replacements

25th November 2013
PhD Woman Meal Replacement – Strawberry Delight Flavour    Coconut Dream  – Coconut & Rice Milk The words “Meal Replacement” do not appeal to me in the slightest, I tend to associate them with fad diets which is certainly not something I wish to promote. So when I received a tub from the PhD Woman range it was gently pushed to the back of my cupboard and forgotten about as I continued to enjoy my post workout shake without a second thought.Whether it is due to my past unhealthy eating habits or a genuine dislike I do not know, but the feeling of being full is not something I enjoy to say the least. So when reviewing my diet a few months back, it became apparent that I wasn’t even hitting 1000kcal per day (the recommended amount for women to consume is 2000kcal per day), for someone hoping to “tone up” this isn’t particularly beneficial. “Abs are made in the kitchen!” I was already at my threshold, I couldn’t introduce anymore food for fear of the fullness so I dusted off the tub and introduced it, teamed with some Coconut Dream Milk, as my second breakfast of the day. This shake added another 308kcal (208kcal if made with water) to my daily intake but also completely eliminated any desire to indulge in the ever present temptations frequenting my office. But what stands out as always with the PhD Woman shakes is the taste and texture. Remember those Nesquik powders you added to milk as a kid? Think that but with little pieces of strawberry treats floating inside. Dreamy! It also makes for a great breakfast on the go when I choose to roll around between the sheets for a little longer than necessary and being a womens fitness supplement […]

It also makes for a great breakfast on the go when I choose to roll around between the sheets for a little longer than necessary and being a womens fitness supplement brand rather that the next SlimFast diet, you know that it contains all the nutrients you need to make the most of your workouts.

I’m in my golden era. Ad having nurtured my hair back to health with professional haircare, supplements and hair oiling I knew I didn’t have enough time to grow my hair back for Summer so the wonderful team at @greatlengthsuk enlisted @imy_hair to transform me into my Summer style for the next few months. For those that don’t know Great Lengths has always been my extension brand of choice, about 15 years ago I had them for 2.5years to help me grow my hair back after I experimented a little too much with my style. My hair grew back healthy and strong and I didn’t have to wish the time away as the extensions gave me the extra few inches I needed without damaging my hair. I will have these removed at the end of the summer to continue to grow my hair back with regular Diamond cuts.
