My latest collection with Karen Millen, ‘A Style Transition’ was heavily inspired by two things:
1. The endless beauty and wisdom that the arrival of Autumn offers
and
2. The personal journey I’ve been on with fashion in recent years and newfound love for timeless style (that won’t be going anywhere anytime soon!)
For that reason, you’ll see that universally flattering shapes and silhouettes make up this collection. In rich oxblood reds, elegant navy, classic camel tones and ivory hues, the colour palette echoes the shades that are on display in the English countryside throughout Autumn; and the quality of each piece will ensure that you can wear it all for years to come.
Given that I’m always asked what my favourite pieces are, I thought I’d get ahead of the game and let you be the first to know!
I refer to this coat as ‘the princess coat’ because it makes me want to pull my shoulders back and hold my head higher as soon as put it on! When I’m wearing it, I don’t want to take it off, it feels like an outfit in itself and it is such good quality, I know it’ll last for years.
I’m not a betting girl but if I had to put money on the first piece to sell out, I’d place my bets on this square neck midi dress. Not only is the neckline extremely elegant, the cut is universally flattering and the colour ways it comes in are all timeless. I am so proud of this dress, I know I’ll be living in it over the next few months!
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that I invested in a black blazer from Khaite a few years ago and every autumn/winter, it comes into its own. Which is why I’m so proud to bring a more afforable but no less stunning black blazer to my collections for this first time in the hope that it becomes your A/W staple each year too. Whether you’re going out for dinner with friends, heading to and from meetings or simply want to add a bit of structure to your outfit, this blazer will elevate a look with ease.
I love fine knit dresses in autumn as they help me to embrace that sense of cosiness when the weather turns, not to mention look forward to feeling that crisp nip in the air for the first time! Like the square neck midi dress, this high neck knit dress is available in multiple shades as it’s an everyday staple that would work both day and night.
I am head over heels in love with this shirt dress! The earthy shade of taupe oozes sophistication, not to mentioned autumnal elegance. It’s a slightly heavier fabric than the shirt dresses in my S/S collections for good reason – warm enough that you’ll be grateful you’re wearing it when the temperatures drop but not so warm that you’ll be sweating profusely, to me, it’s the perfect dress when you want to look and feel the part at work.
After the success of the cornflower blue version of this dress in my last collection, I knew that I had to bring it back for autumn in a royal navy that would rise to any autumnal occasion. This is the dress I’d point to if anyone asked my advice on ‘what to wear to an autumn wedding.’ Paired with my nude Louboutin court heels, it’s such an elegant outfit that transcends any short-term ‘trend.’
As always, thank you so much for your ongoing support with these collections. I can’t wait to hear what you think and start seeing photos of you in each piece!
Looking for more of my autumn favourites? I rounded up my A/W favourites from the past few years and shared them in the first of my ‘Revisiting Old Favourites’ series. Catch up here!

The Autumn Equinox has arrived and as the nights draw in there’s so many opportunities to reconnect with nature.
Hosting a very special breakfast for my girls in honour of @princestrust and @thebrilliantbreakfast to raise money to help young women turn their lives around through work, education and training. A donation of £5 can enable a woman to simply travel to an interview which could go on to change her life forever so I would absolutely love it if you would join me in hosting your own Brilliant Breakfast between the 9th and 15th October, whether it’s simply coffee with a close friend, or encouraging your entire office to get involved, the funds raised will go towards helping young women, aged 11-30 create better futures for themselves.
And thank you to my angel @hello.petal.flowers for giving her time and creative flare to bring my vision for the breakfast to life, of course you don’t have to go with florals like me, but if that’s something you enjoy this is the perfect opportunity to throw a lovely breakfast with your girlfriends with a cause that will help so many other women, front and centre!
