6am running with billabong active

2th October 2014
Last week I teamed up with Two Seasons and Billabong to test drive the new Billabong active range for a bit of 6am cardio. Inspired by 90’s throwback sportswear but with a modern day luxe edge the collection infuses clashing colours, Hawaiian prints and bold basics seemlessly to create a functional and fashionable alternative to every-day active wear. And when I say functional I really mean it due to their use of technical fabrics to create fast drying and breathable fabrics which are both light weight and cool. I had to double check I hadn’t forgotten to put on my shorts as these “change of pace” shorts were so lightweight I felt naked! This water bottle is also a firm favourite in my active day but not only due to it’s sleek design but after noticing a “BPA free” stamp on the bottom I decided to do a little digging. BPA  is the main component of polycarbonate  which is the most frequent substance used to make water bottles and other plastic items. BPA’s have recently been confirmed as highly toxic and is slowly being phased out by many brands, stores and brands with Billabong included. Considering how much plastic surrounds us (No really look round you right now) I think it’s time we all followed suit. Feeling comfortable, looking great and staying healthy are the main factors in my every day fitness goals and the Billabong Active range has succeeded in making those goals a reality. If you want to try the new range for yourself just head over to the Two Seasons online store here.     Top – c/o Two Seasons     Shorts – c/o Two Seasons     Water Bottle – c/o Two Seasons     Trainers – Net-A-Porter c/o Blue Diamond
