bershka “start moving” active wear review

13th February 2014
Cropped Jumper – c/o Bershka    gym bag – c/o  Bershka    Leggings – Primark (Light Control)     Kicks – Footlocker Last week I received a rather large box of goodies from Bershka’s current season “Start Moving” active wear collection. The first thing I noted about the products was the level of quality fabrics and production used for what is a modestly priced collection. The bag was the first item to be integrated into my daily work out essentials. I used to use a Nike bag which I always felt was too large and extremely ridged which isn’t exactly useful when stuffing it into a locker but both the body and straps of the bag are soft and easily manipulated into the matchbox sized lockers at my gym. There is a zip pocket to the inside of the bag which is great for storing my rings a change as well as fitting my headphones and phone in with ease. But the most enjoyable is the over-all design with the mesh overlay on neoprene fabric and a subtle touch of pink branding. Pink is a colour, stop the press I know but colour is not something I am well known for but I cannot ignore the allure of pink so working it into my workout wardrobe in a discreet way is always welcomed. It’s not often I dare to brave the British winter for a spot of out door cardio, more so when its torrential rain and hurricane winds. Therefore I predicted this jumper becoming a car to gym essential, that was until I took to the freezing yoga studio and realised it’s full potential. It’s loose fit and thick seams definitely wouldn’t bode well with my “Phoebe Buffay” style of running but as a warm cover up for […]

Therefore I predicted this jumper becoming a car to gym essential, that was until I took to the freezing yoga studio and realised it’s full potential. It’s loose fit and thick seams definitely wouldn’t bode well with my “Phoebe Buffay” style of running but as a warm cover up for more relaxing gym activities it is great, and again it’s neoprene fabric and pink hints means it has found a nice warm place inside my heart gym bag.
