MyProtein Cookies in Chocolate Mint Flavour – C/O TheHut Eating 5-6 meals a day can be difficult, but making sure you’re getting the right amount of protein at every meal can be even harder so I’m always looking for new and tasty ways to do this. Last week the people from TheHut contacted me regarding the MyProtien range which they stock online and sent me some samples to try. These Mint Flavoured Cookies got me a little flustered just reading those words on the box…Cookies? I’m allowed to eat Cookies? Where’s the catch, seriously now? but with 37.5 grams of protein I promise you I tell no lie. Now I’m not a huge fan of  minty things (even my chewing gum is cherry flavoured) so I’d definitely want to give some other flavours a go like the Double Chocolate or the White Chocolate almond, but that aside they were quite frankly nothing short of delicious and the texture for me was the winner, they nailed the ‘straight out of the oven’ home baked cookie creating a texture that is moist and melted on the tongue. Now the calorie content is a little higher (317kcal) than my normal protein bars from USN (208kcal) however I find that every time I mention the word “calories” to an industry professional I usually leave the conversation almost feeling like a 4 year old whose just been told off, now this may be due to my low body fat that they do this (I am researching it constantly) and believe I can handle a higher calorie intake or when training to the degree that I do, as long as you are eating right calories as such are not the main focus. All that said…and do forgive me if I’m rambling, but I do treat this […]

MyProtein Cookies in Chocolate Mint Flavour – C/O TheHut

Eating 5-6 meals a day can be difficult, but making sure you’re getting the right amount of protein at every meal can be even harder so I’m always looking for new and tasty ways to do this.

All that said…and do forgive me if I’m rambling, but I do treat this one cookie (it’s a big’un) as one of my 5-6 meals therefore feel the slightly higher calorie content is justifiable and will undoubtedly be extremely sad when I reach the end of this box.

Have you tried MyProtien products? What are your thoughts on them? I’d love to know 🙂
