With that in mind, I thought it was about time that I filled you in on my favourites, in case you’re in need of some ideas for the season ahead.
Keeping my guide to nude underwear in mind – after all, no-one wants the outline of a pair of black knickers to steal the show – the following spring dresses have been handpicked by yours truly, so you can waltz down the street in style this spring.
Relaxed glamour at its finest, this mint green maxi dress caught my attention as soon as I laid eyes on it and will be a firm favourite this year, I’m sure. Flirty and care free, it’s perfect dressed up or down and oozes laid back charm on a budget.
Out of what can sometimes feels like a never ending choice online, the pattern on this H&M dress leapt out from the screen and immediately transported me to warmer days in Provence, wondering aimlessly, fresh baguette and croissants in hand…
(It’s currently raining as I type this so roll with me here!)
With a pair of sandals, it’s the perfect dress for a weekend spent mulling around antique stores, hunting down a good bargain… or five.
Feminine and flirty, this dress epitomises romance and is perfect for the frill seekers out there! It has me dreaming of hosting a spring soiree in the garden… rosé in hand from start to finish, of course.
This sleeveless shirt dress is the ultimate timeless classic and will take you from board room to (roof top) bar with ease. The tailoring is so chic, it will leave you feeling empowered. Perfect for a spring day in the City if you ask me.
If you’re looking for that extra special dress for Easter Sunday, I think I’ve found it in this cotton shirt dress from Erdem. Pairing pattern with practicality, it blends style with comfort and will allow you to move from playing Sunday lunch chef to Easter egg hunt host with ease.
Floral fabric and spring go hand-in-hand in my opinion so this tiered dress from Anna Mason was bound to make the cut. Not only do the puffed sleeves add a little playfulness to the design but there’s something so dainty and dear about this print, I can’t help but smile every time I set eyes on it.
Be it the print, the bows, the back, the length, I’ve fallen head over heels in lust with this dress. Perfect for a spring wedding, it will charm all around… wear with caution if you’re not looking to turn heads!
This dress has got me dreaming of picnics in country fields, surrounded by leaping lambs and freshly mown grass! The shape and colour mean that it can be rolled out year on year. A spring staple, if ever I did see one.
I mean, it wouldn’t be a spring edit without a few pieces from my Spring Collection would it?! And this sage dress is hands down my favourite dress I’ve designed. From the sleeves to the embroidery, the colour to the cut, it’s flirty, feminine and completely care free! The best bit? It comes in two different lengths (and colours) too. To get your legs our or not to get your legs out? That is the question.
Though not part of my official collection, you’ve probably seen me wearing this Karen Millen dress on repeat in recent weeks. As soon as I laid eyes on the print, I knew it had to be included in this line up. Ideal for those spring days where the weather isn’t playing ball, the print will still send all the warm, spring vibes your way.
I made my feelings about this particular dress clear in this video from Ireland a few weeks back but in my opinion, it ticks all of the right boxes for spring. Chic, sophisticated, timeless, classic… it’s a dress that demands attention without even trying.
Absolutely love all of these dresses , gorgeous. Just wondered if you would be able to do one for white jeans please. ????
Hi Jackie, so glad to hear it! Thank you. I’m currently working on a white dress edit but I’ll see what I can do! Lydia x
