the fifth

15th December 2014
It has finally reached that point where I try to shove on as many layers as humanly possible, without resembling the Micheline Man…at least I hope. But it’s safe to say this cocoon coat from Australian Brand The Fifth Label was a fundamental layer in this achievement. I absolutely love this outfit, not just how it incorporates both high street, premium high street and high end designer accessories but also that it’s functional as well as on trend. I was so snugly (Yes I did just say snugly and no I’m not sorry about that)! It’s been a few years since I featured a Daniel Wellington time piece with an outfit but who am I to stand in the way of such a perfectly combined outfit and accessory, not to mention that they have kindly given me a discount code work 20% for you to use on that special treat for yourself or for an ever deserving loved one. Simply enter “holidaylydia” at the checkout! I’m finding it so hard not to give you a countdown on every post to Christmas but I’m just so darn excited! So before I ramble on yet again about all things festive I’m going to pour myself a glass of mulled wine and leave it at that. Coat – c/o The Fifth Label    Watch – c/o Daniel Wellington     Skirt – c/o Missguided     Boots – Zara    Knit – Reiss     Sunglasses – c/o Smartbuyglasses      Bag – Balenciaga    On my Nails: Nails Inc x Victoria Beckham – Judo Red   On my lips: MAC lipstick in “Honey – Love” MAC lip liner in “Spice”

Hello April, the most exciting month of them all!
Ad Embarking on a journey of timeless treasures, my passion for antiquing began in the warmth of late summer 2019. When I discovered my father’s old boarding school tuck trunk nestled in the attic of their home. Since then, my weekends have unfolded like chapters in a novel, meandering through antiques emporiums and brocantes across the country.

Each trip unveils a tapestry of tales from bygone eras - from weathered pickling jars and vases to opulent French chandeliers and steamer trunks, and with each trip, I was captivated by the hidden secrets and untold histories woven into each artefact.

Introducing ‘Scented Mementos’ - an enchanting limited edition collection by @jomalonelondon Each fragrance, a symphony of memories, encapsulates the essence of cherished moments. Immerse yourself in the zesty allure of Emerald Thyme, or indulge in the spicy nostalgia of Ginger Beer, where notes of ginger, roasted oak, and cinnamon intertwine to evoke memories of British antiques markets.
