Jumper  £6 – Ebay    Skort – c/o Shelikes    Necklace – Newlook    Bag – Alexander Wang    Boots – c/o SheInside I’ve been following a girl called DylanLex on Instagram for a while now, whose built up a huge following of fans due to her breathtaking statement necklaces (and impeccable style) which infuse grunge and glamour beautifully. I was lusting hard for my own so when the news of her online store launch hit my news feed, I logged on immediately. I think I knew in my heart of hearts that’s all it would ever be, lust, I would never be able to justify, as good as I am in doing so, a jewellery purchase of this caliber. Lucky for me New Look were there to satisfy my yearning with this necklace from their Autumn/Winter collection which is online now.  It seemed like the perfect addition to my styling of the “blogger staple” Skort which really has been a key piece from 2013 for everyone’s wardrobe. I originally purchased the white version from Zara but the sizing was so terribly off and unflattering on me that it remained in my wardrobe tagged and unloved for many months until I finally passed it on to a friend. I thought that was the end of my love affair with the Skort until they popped up for a fraction of the price on many of the online fashion stores I frequent on a regular basis. So I decided to give this faux leather option from SheLikes a go I grabbed the XS which was still a little roomy but perfect for styling with baggy jersey tee’s and over-sized knits as I intended.  I’m hoping this is a fashionably late arrival to the “Skort Pardy”.

Hair @imy_hair for @greatlengthsuk
I’m in my golden era. Ad having nurtured my hair back to health with professional haircare, supplements and hair oiling I knew I didn’t have enough time to grow my hair back for Summer so the wonderful team at @greatlengthsuk enlisted @imy_hair to transform me into my Summer style for the next few months. For those that don’t know Great Lengths has always been my extension brand of choice, about 15 years ago I had them for 2.5years to help me grow my hair back after I experimented a little too much with my style. My hair grew back healthy and strong and I didn’t have to wish the time away as the extensions gave me the extra few inches I needed without damaging my hair. I will have these removed at the end of the summer to continue to grow my hair back with regular Diamond cuts.
