You can never go wrong with a white dress in summer...

It’s that time of year where my inbox receives an influx of messages asking for my recommendations on the best white dresses to buy.

Be it from bride-to-be’s looking for the perfect pre or post-wedding drinks look, those looking for chic ‘white party’ or garden party attire or from someone who, like me, is drawn to wearing white more so than usual at this time of year, with so many dresses available, the choice often feels overwhelming.

Which is why I’ve whittled my favourites down below. From the affordable, mid-tier to luxury, I’m hoping the perfect white dress is hiding in here somewhere…

Mango

This square neck midi dress is an affordable alternative to the square neck number from Khaite that I feature towards the bottom of this edit. Like so many of these dresses, it can be dressed up or down and will look just as elegant in summers to come.

SHOP NOW

Amazon

You can always rely on Amazon for a bargain and at under £30, this square neck, midi dress is exactly that. I ended up ordering it in black too. It’s the dress that you’ll reach for when you’re spending the weekend pottering around the house but still want to feel nice.

SHOP NOW

Dissh

I featured this on Instagram recently and my DMs went wild with a message that sounded a lot like, ‘where is the white dress in your recent reel from?!’ I can confirm that it’s from Dissh and it feels amazing on – the perfect laid back, white mini dress for summer.

SHOP NOW

Reiss

If you’re a bride-to-be looking for the perfect pre-wedding outfit, look no further. Reiss have you covered! This stunning two piece commands attention whilst still feeling relaxed (also available in pink and orange). It would make a stunning holiday outfit for those jetting off somewhere special too.

SHOP SKIRT

SHOP CROP

Jasper Conran

This dress combines playfulness with functionality and is perfect for those days where you’re running from meetings to after work drinks in the sunshine. A strong contender for ‘I’m hosting a garden party this summer and don’t know what to wear,’ too, you’re guaranteed to get lots of wear out of this one.

SHOP NOW

Lydia Millen X Karen Millen

Whilst I’m bias, I know, I truly believe this linen, notch neck dress from my recent collection with Karen Millen is one of the best white dresses I own! The maxi version sold out straight away but if you’re looking for something slightly more formal, the midi version feels so elegant. You’ll have to be quick though, rumour has it there’s only one size left!

SHOP NOW

Reformation

I don’t know why but this is giving me modern day Bridgerton vibes and I am here for it! Paired with my Emmy London tan flats, it’s the perfect summer date dress.

SHOP NOW

Khaite

It’s no surprise to me that this square neck midi from Khaite is selling out fast. The tailoring on it is so flattering and it can be dressed up or down. One of those dresses that’s well worth the investment.

SHOP NOW

Oscar De La Renta

No-one does it quite like Oscar De La Renta. The detail on this dress is simply exquisite. It’s the ultimate bridal or white party dress of dreams. I dare you to wear and it not feel spectacular.

SHOP NOW

Galvan

If you’re off to a black tie ball this summer, this 100% silk halter neck gown from Galvan is guaranteed to get heads turning. It’s one of those dresses that will stay in peoples minds long after the party’s over… it will make you feel like a million pounds, too.

Everything feels a little more optimistic as March begins don’t you think?
It’s the start of spring in my book Evergreen shortly followed by the spring equinox so there’s ample time to prepare, nest and refresh.
The light returns, hello March 🌱

A little indulgence from my comfort of my own home thanks to INCREDIBLE @kmp_skin and @freshbeauty Ad
for the launch of the new Lotus Youth Preserve Resurfacing dream serum which is a gentle AHA serum with prickly pear flower extract said to boost radiance and it was so lovely to be treated to a first trial to get a very first impression of the serum thanks to KMP and her magic hands. I’ve literally never had a facial like it!
The plum tree in our garden is always the first blossom to erupt at this time of year narrowly beating the much loved aubretia that grows in abundance through our old garden wall. As soon as is acceptable I’m out with my secateurs ready to fill vases and prickly jars with its delicate confetti like blooms 🌸
Februarys carpet of Crocus blooms is always quite the spectacle. I find these little cheerful perennial flowers popping up in the most unlikely of places and what’s special is how they naturalise and multiply each year to create a carpet of flowers ready for the early Winter-Spring bees 🌱
