For me, autumn fashion is synonymous with rich, chestnut leathers; classic trench coats that keep the breeze at bay and cosy cream knits that you can snuggle into as the leaves start to fall. Unlike spring and summer, I’m more inclined to invest in quality, high end pieces at this time of year too. Not simply because they’re better equipped to withstand the harsher elements but because I find myself gravitating towards similar colour palettes year-on-year in autumn too…
(So very much see shopping at this time of year as an investment for the future!)
With this in mind, here are my favourite luxury picks for dressing this autumn:
An A/W wardrobe staple right here! You should know me well enough by now to know that I love a bodysuit and this wool-blend bodysuit from Victoria Beckham is up there with one of my all-time favourites. (So much so that I’ve ordered it in all three colours!) From the military detailing on the shoulders to its streamlined waist, the functionality of the design is utterly flawless.
Isabel Marant is one of my go-to designers when I’m on the hunt for classic knitwear and this mohair-blend mockneck sweater proves why. Unlike some of the chunkier cream knits out there, it’s thick enough to keep you toasty and warm when it counts but not so thick that it can’t be worn under jackets or coats. Essential criteria for A/W knitwear if you ask me!
I might as well end the blog post here because let’s be honest, these boots are A/W perfection. As soon as I saw them, they went straight into my basket. To say that I’m excited for their arrival would be an understatement.
The print of this midi dress from Alémais reminded me of autumn leaves and for that reason, quickly found its way onto this list. Easy to dress up or down, it’s a flattering fit that does no wrong.
Jimmy Choo’s collection this A/W is utter perfection (hence why there’s a couple of pieces from the brand on this list!) I’d wear these suede ankle boots with long dresses or midi skirts for an added dose of sass to my outfit of choice.
If you hadn’t already noticed, I’m having a bit of a moment with pointed ballet flats at present so the colour of these beauties from Jimmy Choo immediately caught my eye. I love that Jimmy Choo’s flats cut a little higher on the foot and this shade of burgundy red leather will look divine with the vast majority of autumnal hues.
Wool blazers come into their own at this time of year so this double-breasted, gingham number from Blaze Milano went straight into my basket! Yes it’s a statement piece… but gingham rolls round every year so it ticks the timeless classic box too!
The leather belted waistline of this knee-length number from Alaïa makes this black, 100% cotton skirt an easy staple for the seasons ahead. Not only does it hug your waistline and flatter your silhouette but the colour means that it can be worn day or night, dressed up or down.
I couldn’t help but add this Valentino twilly to my basket! Such an elegant addition to any autumnal hairstyle, it’s an easy win if you ask me.

I LOVE a shearling coat in winter and the colour and length of this Yves Salomon number ticks all the boxes. A luxury treat to me, from me, it’ll be perfect for those ice cold, ‘I can see my breath’ days ahead.
