my ever natural escape

19th October 2015
I’m a country girl, and it’s not something I’m ashamed of. When I head to London for meetings I have no idea where I’m going, wheres cool to get coffee or even what zone I’m in half the time. I grew up in a leafy cul du sac in idyllic Hertfordshire with my parents and despite my goals and aspirations to make something of myself, City life simply never appealed to me. When it came to buying our own house, we ventured further into the country side in Buckinghamshire and now our home is a stones throw from one of the most beautiful spots in our village. This is where I feel at home, I’m able to escape here as if there is this invisible boarder, much like the zones of the London underground, that separate my work and blog life from my curled up on the sofa and autumnal walks in the park, life. It may not be my forever home, where we live currently. I have dreams of open fires and original features mixed with modern accents but until those dreams become a reality I’m happy to slip on some snugglies and head out into to crisp Autumn air to get more of the countryside living. I pull on my favourite pair of denim jeans which have seen better days but I can’t bring myself to part with them,I cosy into some premium knitwear and then seal in the warmth with a Shearling coat, pair of gloves and the most naturally warm & comfortable pair of waterproof, yes waterproof, sheepskin boots, this is my Ever Natural Escape.   Share your #EverNaturalEscape story from the 15th October to the 15th November to be in with the chance of winning a trip of a life time to Australia.
