merry christmas

25th December 2015
The most wonderful time of year. It really is! Every year gets more magical and I’ll never understand how people lose that. Christmas eve and today has been spent with those nearest and dearest showing our appreciation and fully embracing the Christmas Spirit. We rose late into the morning and both put on our festive jumpers before walking down the hall for a Christmas breakfast that only the Gordon’s know how to nail. Perfectly Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and a squeeze of Lime, washed down with a flute crammed full of Champagne and strawberries. Once we were all well and truly satisfied we cosied into the living room next to the roaring fire to open our presents and enjoying each others company. Ali and I put extra thought and effort into Christmas this year and as a result it really has been so so special. I find it quite difficult to compete each year with how good Ali is at getting it right, I always feel like I haven’t done enough for him but this year seeing his face really did make mine extra special. It’s now 5:30pm and we’ve enjoyed the fruits of Ali’s parents labour and are snuggling in the living room waiting for the Christmas movie to start as we dose on various sofas in the house. I hope you all had the most magical Christmas this year and were well and truly spoilt with love and appreciation from all your families. Merry Christmas & Love Always from, Lydia, Ali & Lumi x

Hair @imy_hair for @greatlengthsuk
I’m in my golden era. Ad having nurtured my hair back to health with professional haircare, supplements and hair oiling I knew I didn’t have enough time to grow my hair back for Summer so the wonderful team at @greatlengthsuk enlisted @imy_hair to transform me into my Summer style for the next few months. For those that don’t know Great Lengths has always been my extension brand of choice, about 15 years ago I had them for 2.5years to help me grow my hair back after I experimented a little too much with my style. My hair grew back healthy and strong and I didn’t have to wish the time away as the extensions gave me the extra few inches I needed without damaging my hair. I will have these removed at the end of the summer to continue to grow my hair back with regular Diamond cuts.
