When it comes to luxury tan accessories, I am and will probably always be on ‘team timeless is best’ from now on.
For that reason, I gravitate towards plain tan accessories for the majority of the year because they go with everything first and foremost and when chosen well, mean that the cost per wear makes them some of the best investment pieces going! For me, all you need is a good quality waist belt, bag and pair of flats or courts and your outfits are transformed from plain to sophisticated in seconds.
Whilst I admit that I often gravitate towards Hermes, I am a huge fan of the seven alternative brands below…
It’s no secret that I wear my Hermes tan belt year round but this pebbled leather skinny belt in shade ‘Lauren tan’ is such a beautiful alternative and at £89, is SO well priced. Paired with shirt dresses and the Emmy London flats I mention below, you can’t go wrong!
You will have heard me rave about Celine eyewear before because I bought the Celine Triomphe oval-frame tortoiseshell sunglasses last summer and love them today just as much as I did then. Celine also do beautiful classic tan belts too. My favourite of which can be found here.
If you’ve been following me for a while now, you’ll know that I live in tan flats for the vast majority of Spring/Summer/early Autumn. I tend to buy one pair a year and wear them religiously from late February to early October and always, ALWAYS get my moneys worth. I bought these from Emmy London a few months ago and fell in love straight away. They’re so comfortable on and go with everything!
I loved my Emmy London flats so much that I went back and ordered the Josie Kitten block heels in tan too. Suffice to say, I have no regrets!
If you’re looking for an alternative to the tan Louboutin ‘Kate’ heels that I wear, look no further. These leather pointed courts from LK Bennett come in six stunning shades ranging from white to dark brown and will pair perfectly with the vast majority of outfits.
British designer Charlotte Elizabeth rose to fame when Megan Markle carried the ‘Bloomsbury’ bag the week before the Royal Wedding and this bag has been in high demand ever since. Hand-crafted from British leather, it oozes charm and versatility.
Handcrafted from seagrass using traditional weaving techniques, I fell in love with this bag last summer and feel like it combines practicality and beauty with ease. Perfect for travelling or days spent pottering around pretty places, it’s the bag you’ll keep returning to each summer.
If you’re looking for an everyday staple shoulder bag, Senreve are always worth looking at. Personally, I love the simplicity of the ‘Cadence’ Shoulder bag but there’s so many beautiful designs on there.
