layering nude

1th April 2015
When I think of effortless casual Summer style, there’s only one person who comes to mind and naturally she’s the face of H&M’s new collection which encapsulates just that. I gravitate to H&M like a moth to a flame when out shopping and like every trip, this collection doesn’t disappoint. Ever wanted to layer like those women you see striding across a busy L.A. street in Vogue? Well this season H&M is making it easy for us with Varying lengths of nude, muted tones, statement gilded accessories and masculine “throw on” button up shirts to ensure your wardrobe possesses effortless versatility throughout the coming season. I’ve picked some of my favourite pieces which are getting me so excited for long, hazy Summer evenings so that I can do my best impression of Daria  strutting the streets of L.A. in the video which accompanies the collection, check it out here and then book a plane ticket with me. Summer styling sorted, Thanks H&M.

Everything feels a little more optimistic as March begins don’t you think?
It’s the start of spring in my book Evergreen shortly followed by the spring equinox so there’s ample time to prepare, nest and refresh.
The light returns, hello March 🌱
There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad weather attire 💧
A little indulgence from my comfort of my own home thanks to INCREDIBLE @kmp_skin and @freshbeauty Ad
for the launch of the new Lotus Youth Preserve Resurfacing dream serum which is a gentle AHA serum with prickly pear flower extract said to boost radiance and it was so lovely to be treated to a first trial to get a very first impression of the serum thanks to KMP and her magic hands. I’ve literally never had a facial like it!
The plum tree in our garden is always the first blossom to erupt at this time of year narrowly beating the much loved aubretia that grows in abundance through our old garden wall. As soon as is acceptable I’m out with my secateurs ready to fill vases and prickly jars with its delicate confetti like blooms 🌸
Februarys carpet of Crocus blooms is always quite the spectacle. I find these little cheerful perennial flowers popping up in the most unlikely of places and what’s special is how they naturalise and multiply each year to create a carpet of flowers ready for the early Winter-Spring bees 🌱
