khaki suit

11th September 2012
Coat – C/O LAVISH ALICE    T-shirt – Real Tee @ Topshop    Leggings – Miss Guided     Shoes – Ebay    Bag – Mulberry    Jewellery – C/O Family & Boyfriend I think its become pretty evident that khaki and camo are gonna be big trends for the Autumn season, so for my second post as blogger of the month for the fabulous online boutique LAVISH ALICE I decided to embrace the inevitable weather heading our way and rock out this khaki and leather number! The best part about it, aside from the contrast sleeves, is by far the option of a waist clinching jacket or a slouchy over-sized look, it makes for a pretty versatile jacket for chillier times. I’ve also had my ever faithful Mulberry bayswater, surgically (re)attached to my arm of late, been thinking she’s starting to look a little sorry for herself, time to start scouring the web for a replacement! Have a fabulous week! p.s. Not quite sure why my hair looks ginger in the last photo, did I ever mention that I HATE RUSH HAIR SALON!!!! There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad weather attire 💧
A little indulgence from my comfort of my own home thanks to INCREDIBLE @kmp_skin and @freshbeauty Ad
for the launch of the new Lotus Youth Preserve Resurfacing dream serum which is a gentle AHA serum with prickly pear flower extract said to boost radiance and it was so lovely to be treated to a first trial to get a very first impression of the serum thanks to KMP and her magic hands. I’ve literally never had a facial like it!
The plum tree in our garden is always the first blossom to erupt at this time of year narrowly beating the much loved aubretia that grows in abundance through our old garden wall. As soon as is acceptable I’m out with my secateurs ready to fill vases and prickly jars with its delicate confetti like blooms 🌸
Februarys carpet of Crocus blooms is always quite the spectacle. I find these little cheerful perennial flowers popping up in the most unlikely of places and what’s special is how they naturalise and multiply each year to create a carpet of flowers ready for the early Winter-Spring bees 🌱
Winter Spring views.
Primrose & Snowdrops are on their way!
February is a very special month, it almost feels like the build up before the crescendo of spring and I can’t help but feel a flutter in my chest at the thought of what’s to come 🌱
