daisy chain

9th June 2014
In between the decoration planning for our new home, the re-design of this ol’place on the web and my new early bird gym routine (more to come in this months FAQ), I managed to schedule in some me time/shopping with a quick stop at H&M where I scored this chunky knit for a bargain £5, probably 2 sizes too big but that was part of the appeal. I was completely unaware of what a perfect partner it would make to my beautiful new bucket bag from Baia, best £5 I’ve ever spent. Outfit’s like these are my favourite, thrown together last minute with the idea of only comfort in mind and yet you still feel you are communicating a little part of you to the world without uttering a word. Jumper – H&M Sale (£5)     Shorts – Zara     Birkenstocks – Ebay     Anklet – c/o Cecily London (now £10 in the sale)      Bag – c/o Baia     Cuff – Ebay     Sunnies – H&M     Scarf (used as blanket) – Zara

There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad weather attire 💧
A little indulgence from my comfort of my own home thanks to INCREDIBLE @kmp_skin and @freshbeauty Ad
for the launch of the new Lotus Youth Preserve Resurfacing dream serum which is a gentle AHA serum with prickly pear flower extract said to boost radiance and it was so lovely to be treated to a first trial to get a very first impression of the serum thanks to KMP and her magic hands. I’ve literally never had a facial like it!
The plum tree in our garden is always the first blossom to erupt at this time of year narrowly beating the much loved aubretia that grows in abundance through our old garden wall. As soon as is acceptable I’m out with my secateurs ready to fill vases and prickly jars with its delicate confetti like blooms 🌸
Februarys carpet of Crocus blooms is always quite the spectacle. I find these little cheerful perennial flowers popping up in the most unlikely of places and what’s special is how they naturalise and multiply each year to create a carpet of flowers ready for the early Winter-Spring bees 🌱
Winter Spring views.
Primrose & Snowdrops are on their way!
February is a very special month, it almost feels like the build up before the crescendo of spring and I can’t help but feel a flutter in my chest at the thought of what’s to come 🌱
