channelling cara.

27th October 2015
Cara Delevingne made the transition from magazine covers to TV screens back in 2012 and she took her iconic style a long with her. Cara channels masculine silhouettes with rock and roll accents and floaty feminine fabrics  a style which is really resonating with me this season. Using pieces from the vast FarFetch Autumn/Winter collection I’ve put together an outfit totally inspired by her impeccable style. The focal piece of the outfit is this Jet black Tom Ford peacoat, the cut is classic whist the leather details infuse current rock and roll vibes. The distressed coated skinny jeans from 7 for all mankind are both slimming to create Cara’s enviable long limbs and ensure that the clean lines of the Tom Ford Peacoat are dressed down slightly. To brighten up the all black look I added a luxurious white blouse with feminine ruffles from Plein Sud. My favourite part of any outfit is always the finishing touches, they can make or break any outfit and choosing from the pages upon pages of boots and bags on offer at FatFetch was near impossible and I now have a wish list so long I could wear it as a scarf. I settled on an understated pair of Givenchy Chelsea boots boasting a flat heel along side a YSL cross body bag both with silver hardware to inject more of that rock vibe that Cara does so well. As a London girl, Cara would need to wrap up warm this season so a Moncler cable knit scarf and a pair of Lanvin leather gloves finish off this Off duty Model look seamlessly! This post is in collaboration with FarFetch but I am a huge fan of the store therefore all opinions and items picked are my own, and I definitely will have in […]
