Which is why I’ve decided to hone in on affordable timeless pieces from John Lewis’s own brand, ANYDAY, in keeping with the previous posts in my ‘timeless highstreet series.’
From the perfect Spring blazer to the most adorable Spring flats, here are my current favourites…

The simplicity of this dress is what makes it so elegant and perfect for the upcoming seasons. Though I’d remove the tie belt and use one of my tan leather waist belts from Ralph Lauren or Hermes personally, the dress is stunning as it is and would look great paired with these flats that I shone the spotlight on last week. It wouldn’t surprise me if John Lewis have a bestseller on their hands here.
You can’t go wrong with a nautical knit at this time of year. Perfect for those breezy Spring days when paired with light jeans and flats, it’s a fail safe look that I never tire of.
In a similar manner to the above, navy blazers come into their own at this time of year, too. I love the additional structure that double breasted blazers provide. Pair with white jeans and tan flats for a classic Spring look.
Silk shirts are one of my go-to wardrobe items in Spring when I’m looking to perfect the balance between comfortable, cool and smart. Paired with wide leg trousers and heels when I’m looking to make a statement or tucked into slim-cut trousers paired with flats for an understated look, this khaki version exemplifies versatility.

It’s that time of year where I start mentioning the L word so this linen shirt had to make the line up! White linen shirts are a ‘must have’ for Spring and Summer in my book. Wear loose or tuck into slim cut trousers for a laid back look.
Thoughtfully designed so that it can be paired with both casual and occasion wear, off-white blazers are a chic alternative to bulkier coats at this time of year. I love the subtle fringing on this design. Add a silk neck scarf for an additional dose of je ne sais quoi!
I love how John Lewis have put their own twist on the classic Mary Jane shoe with this stunning burgundy leather court shoe. Pair with cropped jeans or trousers for a playful Spring look. I have no doubt that you’ll receive countless compliments when you wear them.
And finally, these beautiful navy suede court shoes which, at a fraction of the price of my Emmy London ones, are a STUNNING shoe to see you through Spring.
