Hello and welcome to the first post of 2015, and what better way to kick off the year than an immune system boosting smoothie recipe to start the day as well as a little suttin’ suttin’ to say thank you for sticking with me over the passed 3 years.
We all know of the little orange fizzing tablets that our grandparents used to pop in their glasses of water first thing in the morning (that’s actually quite specific so might just be me on that one) but these sachets from Emergen-C contain a “mega dose” of Vitamin-C, some 1,000mg and 6 B vitamins! However as someone who rarely gets ill, the thought of boosting my immune system really isn’t worthy of yet another supplement…Or so I thought.
After digging a little deeper it became apparent that Emergen-C offers many more benefits than just an immune system boost and since receiving a box of Emergen-C a few weeks back, I now pop a sachet on my bedside table before bed and drop it into my glass of water as I wake, It’s a nice refreshing way to wake up.
