Handcrafted in Denmark, Ole Lynggaard’s close bond with nature inspired the design behind the ‘Forest 18-karat yellow and rose gold diamond necklace’ and the stunning simplicity of the results speak for themselves. Made from yellow and rose gold with a small but mighty diamond, it is one of the most elegant and enchanting pieces of jewellery I’ve ever laid eyes on.

My upcoming trip to Chelsea Flower Show made me think of Michael Michaud’s designs as he’s a regular exhibitor at RHS’s flagship show. This sage pendant has my name all over it. I’m also a little bit in love with this hops pendant too.

Inspired by the sycamore tree – a symbol of protection and eternity – Anoushka’s brushed 18 carat gold charm has been designed to bring a sense of strength to anyone who wears it. Intricately engraved with a row of sparkling diamonds, it’s the kind of necklace that could hold its own as a statement piece if required and in the same breath, look just as good over a plain white T. 

Is it just me or is this just the most charming charm of all!? According to my sources (and by sources I mean the Harvey Nichols website!) the pea pod is a symbolism of ‘hope, victory and eternity.’ With that in mind, I fell head over heels in love with this 18ct yellow gold charm as soon as I spied it. Complete with five freshwater pearls and diamonds to make you swoon, it really is something special and will captivate all those who lay eyes on it.

Given that tulips have come into their own in recent weeks, adding a rainbow of colour to roadsides and front gardens alike, it felt only right that this tulip charm was added to the shortlist –  another stunning design by Anoushka. Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, it’s handset with a green jade gemstone and a freshwater pearl and has been designed to be worn solo or stacked with other charms. Personally I’d let the gemstone do the talking and wear it solo…

THE VAMPIRE’S WIFE X ANOUSHKA

Who needs real roses when you can have a pink sapphire encrusted rose charm eh!? Another Anoushka design  but this time one from their collaboration with The Vampire’s Wife… a match made in enchanted woodland design heaven if you ask me! Inspired by the song, ‘The Wild Rose’ by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, the blushed pink sapphires set within a rose gold charm add an additional layer of opulence to this already stunning design. 

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this ring? Inspired by a stroll through flourishing fruit trees, Boodles’ Orchard collection oozes charisma. With the plump white gold pear and pear shaped diamond, it’s a statement ring that will be treasured by those lucky enough to wear it.

With RHS Chelsea Flower Show fast approaching in a matter of weeks, Boodles’ much-loved Secret Garden collection – created to celebrate their continued involvement at Chelsea – is always a delight to browse through too.

This blog post was heavily inspired by this particular charm as the English woodland lays at the heart of Asprey’s Woodland collection. Featuring 18ct yellow gold, pavé diamonds and a pavé diamond clasp, like the Anoushka charms above, it can be worn solo or stacked.

I love the simplicity of this Single Oak Leaf Pendant too. Another Asprey number set in 18ct yellow gold with pavé diamonds, it’s a classic that will stand the test of time, I’m sure. 

Finally, though I won’t lie and say that this charm is my first choice on this list, it doesn’t stop the fact that a blackberry is indicative of English countryside at its finest right!? With that in mind, I can’t help but love this design and have bookmarked it in my mind should I find myself needing woodland inspired gifts later down the line.
