the best tailored trousers
There really is nothing quite like a pair of impeccably tailored trousers and their versatility is what makes them a key investment focus for any wardrobe. I feel like I’ve managed to curate a really well rounded selection of Denim but when it comes to tailored trousers, the options are endless and I am like a moth to a perfectly pin tucked flame whenever I find a new justification for purchasing yet another pair.
There are a couple of brands at the top of my list when it comes to tailing and Joseph is always up there with its modern twist on classic workwear silhouettes but also hitting the mark when it comes to comfort and often a more reasonable price tag when compared with the likes of Max Mara. I picked up this nude straight leg pair last season for meetings in London where I want to look well presented but feel comfortable too. I didn’t quite realise how amazing this particular pair would be and I’m so glad its a style that Joseph has continued in to this season in new colour ways. Paired with a minimalistic bodysuit for a more modern “New Bottega” feel or with a classic oversized shirt for androgynous vibes, their CPW just keeps improving.
I often find Joseph trousers to have a little more room on the waste and in order to get that perfect fit, which I only realised HOW good it was when I posted this video to my Instagram, I often get them tailored somewhere locally, It really can change the whole dynamic of an outfit even just having the front pleats permanently sewn in is such a great option for always keeping the pleats razor sharp.
