happy feet.

18th August 2013
£34.99 £49.99 £29.99 If you follow me on twitter you may have seen my tweet about New Look’s footwear a few weeks back, When the hell did they up their Shoe game and where the hell was I when it happened? Anyway I thought I’d have a check back this week to see if it was just a fluke or whether they were on a one way track to becoming a front runner in the exceptionally priced, on trend shoe porn market. I’m pretty sure I heard my debit card cry out in fear as I hit their website, it knew exactly what was in store the moment my eyes were met by all the Wang and GiuseppeZanotti  influences, that normally are confined to those dodgy China based Ebaysellers whose product descriptions usually have me in fits of laughter. If ever there was a combination of two colours that filled me with endless joy, Black and Gold would be it (They even wrote a song about it) and New Look have catered to this love perfectly with guilded heels, shiny plaques and polished studs. And with prices from as little as £15 up to around £50 (for a super duper leather number) they are certainly knocking their “highstreet” competitors out of the water.  Click here to Shop the Shoe Porn!

Hello April, the most exciting month of them all!
Ad Embarking on a journey of timeless treasures, my passion for antiquing began in the warmth of late summer 2019. When I discovered my father’s old boarding school tuck trunk nestled in the attic of their home. Since then, my weekends have unfolded like chapters in a novel, meandering through antiques emporiums and brocantes across the country.

Each trip unveils a tapestry of tales from bygone eras - from weathered pickling jars and vases to opulent French chandeliers and steamer trunks, and with each trip, I was captivated by the hidden secrets and untold histories woven into each artefact.

Introducing ‘Scented Mementos’ - an enchanting limited edition collection by @jomalonelondon Each fragrance, a symphony of memories, encapsulates the essence of cherished moments. Immerse yourself in the zesty allure of Emerald Thyme, or indulge in the spicy nostalgia of Ginger Beer, where notes of ginger, roasted oak, and cinnamon intertwine to evoke memories of British antiques markets.
