Well well well, Where have I been for the last few days eh? It’s been a bit of a manic week and I just haven’t had the opportunity to get home to the Country side and take some pictures, I mean as beautiful as my Uni apartment is, it’s location is a bit busy for my liking and I wouldn’t wanna have to explain to ever passer by, why I am posing on my own by the river bank! But at home our house is in a lovely little gated road that no-one ever comes down, which I find perfect for my shyness haha!
I’ve got a bit of a confession, before the lovely people from Motel contacted me asking if they could send me some bits to review on my blog, I had never actually owned anything from there. Not because I didn’t dribble when flicking through their website but because I kinda like to know how things come up before I buy them and no where in this town sells it, can you Adam and Eve it? But this was the perfect opportunity to find out, so I picked my fav’s and they arrived the next day. When I pulled this dress from the parcel, that was my outfit sorted for the day, it was love at first sight and it still is! I don’t tend to wear red very often as I feel I resemble Nancy Dell’olio in THAT suit after the Sven Goran Eriksson scandal. But this dress, with its distressed rose print was almost inconceivable in any other colour. Expect to see it pop up on here a few more times in the future! If you wan’t to get your hands on one, or any others from Motels range click HERE.
I also have some FABULOUS news for you…Yesterday at 3:20pm I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!! Now I’m about equal in terms of Joy and embarrassment, due to the fact that I am 23 (almost 24) and have only just passed but mark my words I had tried, I started learning as soon as I turned 17 but for some reason ended up stopping, I then started learning again nearly 2 years later, took two practical tests, and failed…Then my theory test ran out and unfortunately my lovely dad had already bought me a very lovely car that at the time was only 4 yrs old and done 22,000 miles! It sat like that for 4 years, with my boyfriend using it here and there when we was in the UK. This year I made it my mission to finally get my little booty on the road, and my test was finally booked for Monday of last week, I arrived shaking from head to toe only to be told it had been cancelled, they rescheduled my test for the 17TH OF APRIL!!!! I wasn’t having that so I sat refreshing the website for about an hour and finally one popped up. My mum told me it just wasn’t meant to be on Monday and I believe she was completely right in that! I’ll be driving down to London on Monday so if you see me on the way, SAY HIII!
