The Look For Less – Valentino “Rockstud” Ballet Flats

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAAfter years of lusting and months of saving they are finally mine, the Valentino “Rockstud” Ballet flats. And didn’t you guys give them a warm welcome over on my Instagram. I still haven’t had the guts to wear them and I think I’d sooner poke myself in the eye with a hot poker before I wear them to drive in, new car or not I’m genuinely petrified.

After such a positive response to their arrival as well as a great response to my previous “The Look for less” post I thought I’d find some Valentino inspired alternatives as well as linking you directly to these babes if you’re feeling just a lil bit spending.

You bashed that girl on instagram last week for saying you can get these on ebay for £20,and now you make a post of it….wow, you are so two faced!!why be so stuck up and look your nose down on people, then use it as your “own post” I think you forgot where you cone from and where you are now…don’t you?stop lying on social media and be real.

I didn’t bash any girl on Instagram, I just told her that mine were purchased authentic it was just a shame that I think she (and possibly you?) wanted an argument. I searched on google for “Stud ballet flats” and the most similar was these on ebay, ebay is a great source of income for me also and seeing as so many people wanted a pair it seemed silly not to put the post up. There was such a great response my my Alexander Wang anouck boots, which was posted before I even bought these let alone instagrammed them so I think its safe to say, this is definitely my “Own Post” because I wrote it, on my blog, I found the product, I paid for the product and I photographed the images and didn’t steal them from some photosharing site.
      Much love x

Those shoes are beautiful! I am so happy for you -it’s so wonderful to see how successful you are becoming as a blogger and these shoes are a physical reminder of that (I hope that makes sense!)

I have a question – are they comfortable around the toes? Do they feel really tight?

    • lydia 25th March 2015 / 2:53 pm

      Hey Roshni,
Thanks so much 🙂 No they don’t feel tight and I’ve got the widest feet on earth haha!

Oh my God…I’m in love. these shoes are so pretty and perfect for spring. I know that feeling when you purchase something you absolutely love and then you’re too afraid to wear it out…and then you wear it out and everyone is like ”Woah! Where did you get that??” and you’re so happy you want to cry. :’D

    • lydia 25th March 2015 / 7:59 pm

OMG Julia you just get it completely! Thats how i feel right now 🙂 x
