Red Silhouette

V1 V7 V8 Vdual V5 V6When I was little, my Grandma used to take me to Old Amersham and Beaconsfield to these little boutique shops and buy me the most beautiful little dresses. I remember the way they used to make me feel, so special, like a flower princess. Those memories will stay with me forever.

To this day, dresses still have the ability to transport me back to that time, with the same feelings and emotions. Obviously my style has changed a fair bit since I was 5 years old. But the experience of finding the perfect dress is still as heart fluttering as all those years ago. When I pulled this red chiffon dress from it’s bag, I’ve got to say my heart didn’t skip a beat…It wasn’t until I slipped it on and the chiffon skimmed the shape of my body in all the right places, with its flirty frilly kick to the bottom hem, that I felt that familiar flutter.

Even now, that little girl which I so easily forget about, is still there deep inside me.

Hi Lydia, I have only recently started following your blog.
You always look amazing! Love the lip colour in these pics…. are your lips naturally big or do you use fillers, or is it lipstick and liner that enhances their shape???
Do you have any posts with makeup tips??? x

Hey Louise I’m very open about any surgery I may or may not have had but lips isn’t one of them I’m afraid I think it’s the lip liner that I have on which I’ve linked in the post it’s quite a natural one but bold at the same time…wow my descriptive skills are insane haha!

I really enjoyed the story not only ’cause I feel identified in it, but the way in which trhough a simple and humble maner you described the scene.
Not to mention how delicate you look like 🙂
