shades of black

8th December 2014
If I’m ever in doubt about what to wear, whatever the occasion, I always reach for black. So it seems stupid not to invest in such a fail safe colour especially this time of your. It was cold, I love black so I guess that completely justified this stunning new addition from Reiss, right? Oh I do love how without fail we are able to justify whatever we purchase perfectly, no matter what! But in all seriousness, a good coat is essential here in the UK and this year I opted for something a little more timeless, smart  and sophisticated. With a beautiful clean, tailored silhouette and a subtle yet statement print it was love at first click. The fact that this coat was so sophisticated made wearing fairly small heels a perfectly comfortable experience. It isn’t often that I post outfits without some form of three inch (or more) heel, they are almost like a comfort blanket to me, however times do change and maybe it’s down to the sheer beauty of these Senso boots but I don’t think this will be the last time either!     Coat – Reiss     Black Polo Neck – Boden     Scarf – Hobbs     Bag – Alexander Wang     Boots – Senso     Jeans – H&M     Watch – Michael Kors   On my lips: MAC lipstick in “Honey – Love” MAC lip liner in “Spice”
