girls on film // behind the scenes of ax paris aw14 advert shoot

29th September 2014
Last Monday, I loaded up my car and drove down to Brighton, one of my most favourite cities in England to take part in the AX Paris Autumn/Winter 14 TV advert shoot along side two gorgeous Bloggers/Youtubers Sabrina and Sarah. I arrived on Monday night to the gorgeous apartment they had organised for us, situated on Brighton highstreet. I dropped off my bags and we headed out for Italian giving us all an opportunity to get to know each other a bit more. After the pizza’s and wine we headed back to get an early night ready to be on set in the morning. We all awoke to the sun shining and the seagulls singing…which actually isn’t that pleasant as it turns out haha! We headed out to get coffee and macarons, of course, before arriving at Prism night club for a day full of shooting. We were whisked into make up and then chose from the gorgeous selection of dresses which AX Paris had arranged for us. We had so much fun working a long side the models and most importantly the AX Paris team, I have to say that not only are their dresses stunning but so are all the girls behind the scenes of the brand. We all clicked so well and I’m now suffering a bad case of “girl crush” in the aftermath of the shoot ha ha! But I didn’t stay away long as my amazing friend and fellow blogger Zoe, her sister Amy and I all headed to Manchester for their press day on Saturday where I got to see the first draft of the advert before its release mid October. It was so surreal watching it and I’m so excited to see it on TV! But I may also have a little video coming […]

I’m in my golden era. Ad having nurtured my hair back to health with professional haircare, supplements and hair oiling I knew I didn’t have enough time to grow my hair back for Summer so the wonderful team at @greatlengthsuk enlisted @imy_hair to transform me into my Summer style for the next few months. For those that don’t know Great Lengths has always been my extension brand of choice, about 15 years ago I had them for 2.5years to help me grow my hair back after I experimented a little too much with my style. My hair grew back healthy and strong and I didn’t have to wish the time away as the extensions gave me the extra few inches I needed without damaging my hair. I will have these removed at the end of the summer to continue to grow my hair back with regular Diamond cuts.
