how to style summer florals

This season I have fallen in love with florals, but not just any florals it’s that New Romantic kind of florals which appear as if they have faded somewhat, in the intensity of the Summer sun. Those intricate vintage prints are adorning dresses and accessories everywhere and I was determined to work them in to my wardrobe, ensuring I take a giant leap from my monochromatic Winter wardrobe. But it isn’t easy introducing such a beautiful feminine print into the wardrobe and style of a girl who likes to play it somewhat safe.   [lem_title]Choose The Print Wisely[/lem_title] Picking a floral print doesn’t mean you pick just any as it’s fairly easy, if done wrong, for it to look a little on the cheap side so I always look for the more ornate prints with a vintage feel that steers clear of being too “Cath Kidston-esque”. Blushed pinks and washed out nudes are currently the colours I’m looking for in floral prints after falling in love with this stunning playsuit from Zimmermann at Elise Walker. For those bohemian Summer vibes my Isabel Marant ‘Dicker’ boots are always top of my list with their distressed suede and Cowboy infusion, I love how they compliment the earth tones of the playsuit whilst contrasting completely in style.
