7th April 2015
Yesterday it hit 17 degrees here in the UK which is positively tropical. There was skin showing all over the place as we peeled off the last of our Winter coats. One of my favourite styles for Spring/Summer…Well is it a style? I’m not sure, basically what I do yeah, is I find a really nice dress, and I stick a pair of “bad ass” boots with it. Then I pretty much wear nothing else for the rest of the season. I love the contrast of feminine colours and silhouettes with the rock & roll edge of a good quality pair of black leather boots. It’s quite indicative of who I am really, I’ve always been a girlie girl (even if I was never very good at being girlie) but I grew up listening to the very best of Rock and Roll thanks to my dad’s sensational taste in music so I like to think that Summer allows me to show this side of who I am a little better. The boots help too of course, Cheers Mr. Wang!   I’ve teamed my bad ass boots with this beautiful nearly nude, relaxed fit shirt dress, believe it or not, from Missguided. My nude and rose gold Mulberry Alexa and a statement rose gold watch from Olivia Burton. So it’s official Spring is in and after we’ve absolutely destroyed all of our hard work through Winter, with a bank holiday full of Chocolate Chocolate and more bloomin’ Chocolate, of course now the sun should pop up. Veg and water it is for the foreseeable future.   Shirt  – Missguided     Leather Jacket – Whistles     Boots – Alexander Wang     Bag – Mulberry     Watch – Olivia Birton

Hello April, the most exciting month of them all!
Ad Embarking on a journey of timeless treasures, my passion for antiquing began in the warmth of late summer 2019. When I discovered my father’s old boarding school tuck trunk nestled in the attic of their home. Since then, my weekends have unfolded like chapters in a novel, meandering through antiques emporiums and brocantes across the country.

Each trip unveils a tapestry of tales from bygone eras - from weathered pickling jars and vases to opulent French chandeliers and steamer trunks, and with each trip, I was captivated by the hidden secrets and untold histories woven into each artefact.

Introducing ‘Scented Mementos’ - an enchanting limited edition collection by @jomalonelondon Each fragrance, a symphony of memories, encapsulates the essence of cherished moments. Immerse yourself in the zesty allure of Emerald Thyme, or indulge in the spicy nostalgia of Ginger Beer, where notes of ginger, roasted oak, and cinnamon intertwine to evoke memories of British antiques markets.
