the drop.

9th October 2014
So I may have been a tad eager this year, but finally the temperature drop has happened here in the UK. That’s the beauty of living in this country, we have a proper Summer season albeit a bit short, and a proper Winter with all the magic of the transitional seasons in between. So with the heating officially on in the Millen-Gordon house hold, I slipped on my new favourite statement knit from Fashion Pills and accessorised with a warm Starbucks for a day full of meetings. I’m one of those people who unless it’s 30 degrees in the shade, I’m painfully cold so knitwear is always my favourite thing to purchase when the cold weather arrives and Fashion Pills nailed it with this one but they also have some other great Winter warmers like this gorgeous long line fluffy number As usual I approach the end of yet another manic week preparing for yet another manic weekend of some super exciting events, which I cannot wait to share with you!       Cardigan – c/o Fashion Pills     Denim – Primark (DIY)     Scarf – available here & here      Sunglasses  – c/o SmartBuyGlasses    Shoes – Christian Louboutin    Bag – Balenciaga   On my lips is Spice Lip liner from MAC

Hello April, the most exciting month of them all!
Ad Embarking on a journey of timeless treasures, my passion for antiquing began in the warmth of late summer 2019. When I discovered my father’s old boarding school tuck trunk nestled in the attic of their home. Since then, my weekends have unfolded like chapters in a novel, meandering through antiques emporiums and brocantes across the country.

Each trip unveils a tapestry of tales from bygone eras - from weathered pickling jars and vases to opulent French chandeliers and steamer trunks, and with each trip, I was captivated by the hidden secrets and untold histories woven into each artefact.

Introducing ‘Scented Mementos’ - an enchanting limited edition collection by @jomalonelondon Each fragrance, a symphony of memories, encapsulates the essence of cherished moments. Immerse yourself in the zesty allure of Emerald Thyme, or indulge in the spicy nostalgia of Ginger Beer, where notes of ginger, roasted oak, and cinnamon intertwine to evoke memories of British antiques markets.
