Kilner Jar – Ebay    Towel – Ralph Lauren Home    Sunglasses – Boohoo I think it’s safe to say this weekend was the craziest of my life, hence being slightly M.I.A. in the run up. Ali and I set off to Birmingham on Thursday evening as we were attending Bodypower Expo 2014 with our Sponsors PhD Woman & PhD Nutrition. It was long hours and hard graft but probably one of the most incredible experiences of my life, But more about that another time.  I went to bed Sunday night as normal but awoke Monday feeling like I’d been hit by a bus (or 10), it’s amazing how your body keeps going and then the moment you stop it’s game over.  I decided to take 5 from the usual blogging routine to bring myself back to life first so I spent the day in my pyjamas and rustled up some goodness to put back into my lethargic body. This smoothie packed full of anti-oxidants has got to be one of my favourites for the season and its a (Summer) breeze to do: You will need 1 Cup of Frozen Summer Berries 1/2 a Banana 1 Green Tea bag (I use Tesco’s finest) 2 Tbsp of Manuka Honey 1/2 Cup of Almond Milk 1/4 Cup of Water Ice Step 1 Boil 1/4 Cup of Water and add Green Tea bag and 2 Tbsp of Manuka honey. Leave for a few minutes to infuse. Step 2 Add remaining ingredients to Blender and blend until smooth. Step 3 Then add the infused water and manuka honey and blend for a short while again. Step 4 Serve in cute little jar like everyone else on the internet and add a Strawberry for photography purposes. This is one of my favourite smoothies to sit […]

I think it’s safe to say this weekend was the craziest of my life, hence being slightly M.I.A. in the run up.
This smoothie packed full of anti-oxidants has got to be one of my favourites for the season and its a (Summer) breeze to do:
You will need
1 Cup of Frozen Summer Berries
1/2 a Banana
1 Green Tea bag (I use Tesco’s finest)
2 Tbsp of Manuka Honey
1/2 Cup of Almond Milk
1/4 Cup of Water
Ice
Step 1
Boil 1/4 Cup of Water and add Green Tea bag and 2 Tbsp of Manuka honey. Leave for a few minutes to infuse.
Step 2
Add remaining ingredients to Blender and blend until smooth.
Step 3
Then add the infused water and manuka honey and blend for a short while again.
Step 4
Serve in cute little jar like everyone else on the internet and add a Strawberry for photography purposes.

This is one of my favourite smoothies to sit out on the decking on warmer mornings and breath in the Summer air. It’s near impossible to have a bad day when you start them this way, try it!

Ad Embarking on a journey of timeless treasures, my passion for antiquing began in the warmth of late summer 2019. When I discovered my father’s old boarding school tuck trunk nestled in the attic of their home. Since then, my weekends have unfolded like chapters in a novel, meandering through antiques emporiums and brocantes across the country.

Each trip unveils a tapestry of tales from bygone eras - from weathered pickling jars and vases to opulent French chandeliers and steamer trunks, and with each trip, I was captivated by the hidden secrets and untold histories woven into each artefact.

Introducing ‘Scented Mementos’ - an enchanting limited edition collection by @jomalonelondon Each fragrance, a symphony of memories, encapsulates the essence of cherished moments. Immerse yourself in the zesty allure of Emerald Thyme, or indulge in the spicy nostalgia of Ginger Beer, where notes of ginger, roasted oak, and cinnamon intertwine to evoke memories of British antiques markets.

Everything feels a little more optimistic as March begins don’t you think?
It’s the start of spring in my book Evergreen shortly followed by the spring equinox so there’s ample time to prepare, nest and refresh.
The light returns, hello March 🌱

A little indulgence from my comfort of my own home thanks to INCREDIBLE @kmp_skin and @freshbeauty Ad
for the launch of the new Lotus Youth Preserve Resurfacing dream serum which is a gentle AHA serum with prickly pear flower extract said to boost radiance and it was so lovely to be treated to a first trial to get a very first impression of the serum thanks to KMP and her magic hands. I’ve literally never had a facial like it!
