her tea.

19th August 2013
I’ve seen a lot of these weight loss teas knocking around recently, and I’ve got to say, it doesn’t half bore me! I mean seriously how is there even a market for these quick fix solutions, hasn’t society wised up yet and realised that no tea, pill or fad diet is going to make you skinny. You might shift a lbs or two but the likelihood of that minuscule amount actually staying off? Come on now. Anyway it was a pleasure to be approached by the team from YouTea to review their tea which claims to aid you in more beneficial ways.  I decided to review their HerTea range which claims to reduce & control fluid retention, heighten mood, improve skin health, aid weight control, manage bloating and aid digestion. Now if you’ve followed my blog for a while you will know that my skin is a big issue for me so anything that I can do to improve it I will but what you may not know is I do tend to suffer with a bit of bloating towards that dreaded time of the month (I’m quite sure you didn’t want to know that either).  For me its unbearable I hate seeing my tummy, that I work so hard for in the gym, stick out like I’ve just binged on an entire box bakery full of donuts!  And this was the most noticeable difference that I experienced from drinking this tea 2 times a day (30mins before breakfast and 30mins before dinner as directed) 3 weeks in, and fast approaching T.O.M. I’m yet to experience that sluggish, bloated feeling growing inside of me. and that for me spells WINNER!

Ad Embarking on a journey of timeless treasures, my passion for antiquing began in the warmth of late summer 2019. When I discovered my father’s old boarding school tuck trunk nestled in the attic of their home. Since then, my weekends have unfolded like chapters in a novel, meandering through antiques emporiums and brocantes across the country.

Each trip unveils a tapestry of tales from bygone eras - from weathered pickling jars and vases to opulent French chandeliers and steamer trunks, and with each trip, I was captivated by the hidden secrets and untold histories woven into each artefact.

Introducing ‘Scented Mementos’ - an enchanting limited edition collection by @jomalonelondon Each fragrance, a symphony of memories, encapsulates the essence of cherished moments. Immerse yourself in the zesty allure of Emerald Thyme, or indulge in the spicy nostalgia of Ginger Beer, where notes of ginger, roasted oak, and cinnamon intertwine to evoke memories of British antiques markets.

Everything feels a little more optimistic as March begins don’t you think?
It’s the start of spring in my book Evergreen shortly followed by the spring equinox so there’s ample time to prepare, nest and refresh.
The light returns, hello March 🌱

A little indulgence from my comfort of my own home thanks to INCREDIBLE @kmp_skin and @freshbeauty Ad
for the launch of the new Lotus Youth Preserve Resurfacing dream serum which is a gentle AHA serum with prickly pear flower extract said to boost radiance and it was so lovely to be treated to a first trial to get a very first impression of the serum thanks to KMP and her magic hands. I’ve literally never had a facial like it!
