and i fall, i fall in love

20th December 2011
Fur Stole – New Look Dress – C/O inlovewithfashion.com Leather Jacket – Topshop Boutique Bag – Romwe Shoes – Topshop Jewellery – H&M     Ladies and I hope some gentlemen too, can I just say this is the FIRST year that I have had my Christmas Eve outfit sorted in advance rather than an hour before I’m due to join the festivities. The beautiful people at Love sent me this dress just over a week ago and I’ve been itching to show you it from the moment I untied the pretty pink bow holding the parcel together, THIS is the dress that inspired me to cut up my dress the other night and THIS is my Christmas Eve 2011 dress. I think this dress is a happy medium between sequins and wet look metallics, its totally understated yet once the light hits the material it comes alive, perfect for the bars and clubs I hope to make it to on the 24th! The only thing that upset me a wee bit is that I had to put the belt with it, because its a lil roomy but I’ve got it all ready to go to the dress makers on Thursday to have that sorted in time! To get your grubby little mits on this dress or one from their ever more amazing range click HERE I also cannot get enough Romwe’s version of the Zara Plaited shopper, I’m so happy that its hardware is silver and not gold like the Zara one, goes with EVERYTHING! I’m off home tomorrow for the night to see friends and family and hopefully a spot of shopping at my favorite boutique in Watford, “The End“, I used to live in nothing but their stock for the best part of 3 years but I’m […]

I will definately be doing more outfit posts in the lead up to Christmas as I’ve found some absolute gems for you all to dribble over, I’m even gonna try and do some when I’m in Verbier from the 30th but they will probably be a tad “chalet girl chic”!
Its almost CHRISTMAS!!!

Ad Embarking on a journey of timeless treasures, my passion for antiquing began in the warmth of late summer 2019. When I discovered my father’s old boarding school tuck trunk nestled in the attic of their home. Since then, my weekends have unfolded like chapters in a novel, meandering through antiques emporiums and brocantes across the country.

Each trip unveils a tapestry of tales from bygone eras - from weathered pickling jars and vases to opulent French chandeliers and steamer trunks, and with each trip, I was captivated by the hidden secrets and untold histories woven into each artefact.

Introducing ‘Scented Mementos’ - an enchanting limited edition collection by @jomalonelondon Each fragrance, a symphony of memories, encapsulates the essence of cherished moments. Immerse yourself in the zesty allure of Emerald Thyme, or indulge in the spicy nostalgia of Ginger Beer, where notes of ginger, roasted oak, and cinnamon intertwine to evoke memories of British antiques markets.

Everything feels a little more optimistic as March begins don’t you think?
It’s the start of spring in my book Evergreen shortly followed by the spring equinox so there’s ample time to prepare, nest and refresh.
The light returns, hello March 🌱

A little indulgence from my comfort of my own home thanks to INCREDIBLE @kmp_skin and @freshbeauty Ad
for the launch of the new Lotus Youth Preserve Resurfacing dream serum which is a gentle AHA serum with prickly pear flower extract said to boost radiance and it was so lovely to be treated to a first trial to get a very first impression of the serum thanks to KMP and her magic hands. I’ve literally never had a facial like it!
