do it ya friggin’ self!

26th November 2011
Shirt – H&M Pleather Trousers – Melody Direct Bag – Peacocks (was red, fabric painted black) Shoes- Topshop Rings – Brighton market stall   So I had a sudden brain wave last night when I was finally finishing off painting this clutch bag from red to black, I had wanted a black envelope clutch for aaages but was too stubborn to pay £20+ quid for one when I found this one in red from peacocks for £9 so off I strolled to House Of Fraser haberdashery to buy more fabric paint and voila!! black (with a red tinge) envelope clutch, I wouldnt recommend this as it took for ever and was extremely tedious! I have had this shirt for god knows how long and haven’t ever really wore it, but with all these statement collars and collar tip jewels around I thought this was a perfect “daytime-friendly” way of wearing this trend. I literally just got a ruler and biro, drew the outline and then filled in with black fabric paint, there are sooo many different colours of fabric paint including Gold and Silver that I don’t think this will be my last DIY statement collar. I hope you like it!
