style crisis

30th October 2011
Hat – My step mums closet – Vintage Peter Pan Collar shirt – American Apparel (for sale) Bow – DIY House of Fraser Haberdashery  Dress – H&M Boots – H&M Bag – Bayswater Mulberry     Good evening all! I’ve not had as productive Sunday as I had hoped but I’m blogging so that’s the main thing. I went out in town last night for the first time in 2 weeks and as it always seems to be recently, it wasn’t anything extraordinary…I’m not quite sure what it is but certainly I know it’s not the company, I love my friends. But I’m just not enjoying nights out the way that I used to and I’m certainly not enjoying being drunk…am I growing up? The thing with me is I like going places that have live bands and new talent. I’d definitely say I’m more at home in a dingy pub with a glass of wine and some real music than in some over priced bars with girls vomiting over themselves. Something needs to give because I can’t not socialize that’s for sure. I’m also having a bit of a style crisis, this happens when I’m not working in a store (I physically cant at the moment with my uni work load) I take a lot of inspiration from the places I work and really identify my style better. It also stops impulse buys because I have a good few hours to think a purchase through. Like the other day I stupidly walked into Topshop intending to buy a coat from the sale but instead I walked out with a £110 pound Gilet byThe Ragged Priest concession…I loved it but it was a stupid thing to do and when the buttons fell off it went straight back to the shop. I think that was a […]

Good evening all!

I think that was a sign.

I also ended up taking a Pleather skirt back to H&M which I loved more than anything and it took me forever to find but a size 8 was just too big and although I had every intention to have the skirt taken in….I knew deep down it would just sit in my wardrobe with its tags still on looking at me guiltily, So i exhcnaged it for this gorgeous snake print dress which will look beautiful with a cute little jumper over the top when it starts to get colder.

Before I sign off and head over to my life long friend Bruno’s gig at the Shisha Garden in Northampton I wanted to share this beautiful blog I recently found and am Obsessed with (aswell as the girl that writes it) unfortunately Northampton isn’t blessed with the London standard of charity shops otherwise I’d be giving this girl a race to every store ha-ha http://jazzabellesdiary.blogspot.com

Ciao for now
xxxx

Ad Embarking on a journey of timeless treasures, my passion for antiquing began in the warmth of late summer 2019. When I discovered my father’s old boarding school tuck trunk nestled in the attic of their home. Since then, my weekends have unfolded like chapters in a novel, meandering through antiques emporiums and brocantes across the country.

Each trip unveils a tapestry of tales from bygone eras - from weathered pickling jars and vases to opulent French chandeliers and steamer trunks, and with each trip, I was captivated by the hidden secrets and untold histories woven into each artefact.

Introducing ‘Scented Mementos’ - an enchanting limited edition collection by @jomalonelondon Each fragrance, a symphony of memories, encapsulates the essence of cherished moments. Immerse yourself in the zesty allure of Emerald Thyme, or indulge in the spicy nostalgia of Ginger Beer, where notes of ginger, roasted oak, and cinnamon intertwine to evoke memories of British antiques markets.

Everything feels a little more optimistic as March begins don’t you think?
It’s the start of spring in my book Evergreen shortly followed by the spring equinox so there’s ample time to prepare, nest and refresh.
The light returns, hello March 🌱
There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad weather attire 💧
A little indulgence from my comfort of my own home thanks to INCREDIBLE @kmp_skin and @freshbeauty Ad
for the launch of the new Lotus Youth Preserve Resurfacing dream serum which is a gentle AHA serum with prickly pear flower extract said to boost radiance and it was so lovely to be treated to a first trial to get a very first impression of the serum thanks to KMP and her magic hands. I’ve literally never had a facial like it!
